Our client empowers every person and organization to achieve more and to continue that mission they need a self-driven Microsoft Outlook Mobile Technical Support Specialist to help solve IT tickets and conduct application testing.
Global Enterprise client is in search of a self-driven Japanese-speaking technical support agent with proven work experience and can effectively and efficiently troubleshoot technical problems. Freelancers will have excellent reading and writing skills in English and Japanese. Freelancers must be available to begin work immediately.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Providing quality support for Outlook Mobile with relevant troubleshooting and timely updates to customers.
- Identifying reproducible issues and file bug reports to include concise yet detailed information about issues following the team's bug reporting procedure.
- Staying informed of the latest application builds of Outlook Mobile (versions, changes, features).
- Communicating and cooperating in a multicultural environment on a distributed team.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Exceptional Japanese and English written communication skills.
- Extensive experience working as a Technical Support specialist.
- Solid background in providing solutions to IT tickets, which come in through emails/chat.
- Prior experience solving complex technical tickets.
- Strong time-management skills.
Additional Information
Device Requirements:

- A laptop/PC with DUAL boot:
- Boot 1: Personal and work partition.
Boot 2: Environment dedicated to the project.
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (latest updates installed and activated with a genuine product key).
- Memory: Minimum of 16GB RAM
- Processor: At least Intel 8th generation (Coffee Lake / Newer) or equivalent in AMD.
- Module: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 version is required.
- Storage: Minimum of 160GB SSD with 64 GB free space for the partition.
- Network: LAN (local access network) required. Freelancers will not connect to the provided systems and tools using WiFi.
- Internet Speed: Minimum of 50 Mbps upload/download speed.
- Antivirus: No 3rd-party antivirus software installed. Only Microsoft Defender is allowed with the latest update.
- Webcam: Required and must be Microsoft Teams compatible with at least 720p resolution.
- Microphone and Headset: Required and must be USB type 3.0, Microsoft Teams compliant, with background noise cancellation.
- Monitor: Strongly suggest and prefer that freelancers use dual monitors. At least one monitor is required to have at least 1368x720 or higher resolution.
PassKey Requirements
- Mobile phone should have at least iOS version 17 or Android OS version 14. This will not work if you are using earlier versions.
- Should have bluetooth on PC and mobile phone. Make sure bluetooth is turned on on both devices.
- If you are using a desktop, make sure you have a bluetooth adapter.
