Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service in our startup restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves managing staff, coordinating kitchen and front-of-house operations, maintaining high-quality service, and supporting business growth. As a startup, we value flexibility—this role may occasionally require stepping into various tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all restaurant operations including front-of-house and back-of-house
  • Lead and support the team to ensure excellent customer service and food quality
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to manage stock and deliveries
  • Handle customer feedback, concerns, and service recovery in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Track daily sales, manage POS systems, and report financial performance to owners
  • Help implement marketing or promotional campaigns in coordination with the owner
  • Support menu planning, cost control, and overall operational efficiency
  • Step in as needed for any role—kitchen, cashier, or service—to assist during peak hours or staff shortages

Qualifications:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or food service operations
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and restaurant best practices
  • Comfortable with basic reporting, inventory, and POS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment is a plus
