What the day will look like

• Preparation of US GAAP adjustment entries and calculation of right of use and lease liability for real estate leases
• Review ASC842 and IFRS16 leases related account balances
• Responsible for monthly and quarterly internal and corporate reporting. This includes prepare supporting schedules to Corporate Consolidations Group.
• Support Regional Controllership in month-end close activities and work closely with countries finance to resolve month end close issues
• Review intercompany matching reports and work closely with countries finance in resolving imbalance issues
• Support quarterly APAC Balance Sheet review
• Support Working Capital Reporting and analysis
• Support Global Finance projects
• Identify areas of improvement and drive consistency of current processes

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Qualified finance professional (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA, etc)
• At least 5 years of accounting experience in Controllership, preferable in MNC and regional environment
• Knowledge of US GAAP preferred
• Experience in monthly close process
• Good understanding of intercompany accounting or transaction
• Experience in Workday system and Power BI will be an advantage
• Advanced level in Microsoft Excel skills
• Responsible, passionate, self-driven and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Business proficient fluency in English
• Meticulous and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong teammate with ability to handle across multiple geographies and culture
