Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accounting records using balance sheet analysis and general ledger accounts
  • Helps secure sensitive financial data by assisting other team members with database creation and maintenance
  • Handles day-to-day financial tasks like data entry, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable management, and bank reconciliations to support senior accountants in preparing financial reports, budgets, and audits
  • Corrects accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustments
  • Prepares fixed asset depreciation and accruals
  • Updates and maintains general ledger accounts by keeping close track of accounts receivable details and control accounts
  • Responsible for preparing and filing tax returns (such as VAT, withholding tax, and income tax) using the eFPS system, reconciling related accounts, assisting with disbursement processing, maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers, and ensuring compliance with national and local tax regulations.
  • Completes other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or other related course
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbal and in writing
  • Basic computer operations and MS Office tools utilization. This involves internet skills, research skills, and communication and collaboration tools, and specialized software tools in Accounting.
  • Preferably with at least 1-3 years of work experience in general accounting preferably QNE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php20,000.00 per month
