About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Construction Engineer to join our team at PMQS Construction Solutions, Inc. in our Ayala Alabang office in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Construction Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project timelines, resolve issues, and provide regular updates
  • Review and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Conduct site inspections and monitoring to identify and mitigate potential risks or challenges
  • Collaborate with the design team to provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, cost records, and quality assurance records
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and construction personnel to support their professional development

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a construction engineering role, preferably in the commercial or residential construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and construction best practices
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
