Primary Function/Job Function: 

This position is responsible for driving and coordinating the Sales and Operations (S&OP) process among concerned units to enable the organization to serve customer demand effectively and efficiently. He is also responsible for ensuring that related plans and activities resulting from S&OP meetings/discussions are integrated, tracked, or followed through as necessary to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  • Leads the implementation and adherence of S&OP process 
  • Facilitates creation, sign-off and adherence to "one-number planning" and monitors the execution of plans and programs across Sales, Marketing, SCM and Manufacturing Units.
  • Tracks execution of agreed action plans to address potential supply gaps.
  • Monitors monthly S&OP KPI results. Analyzes and evaluates significant variance in actual/operational performance vis-à-vis S&OP Targets, communicates deviations to all concerned and ensures corrective/preventive action plans are established and executed by concerned party (ies). 
  • Coordinates and manages proper linkage between Demand (Sales & Marketing) & Supply (Manufacturing Unit & Supply Chain Management) sides, ensuring that required activities and output are done effectively and efficiently.
  • Prepares Action Register, disseminates it, and makes the necessary follow-ups with issue owners.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or any related course.
  • With at least 3-5 years of Supply Chain Management experience in a managerial role, preferably in an FMCG company. 
  • With at least 3 years of experience in demand planning, material and FG planning, operations management, production control, inventory management or master scheduling. Knowledge in MRP systems is an advantage.
