We are seeking a proactive Virtual Assistant to support a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a psychiatry/healthcare setting. The role involves handling inbound and outbound patient calls, coordinating follow-ups, and providing administrative assistance while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls to schedule appointments, confirm visits, and follow up with patients.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Nurse Practitioner, including updating electronic health records (EHR).
  • Respond to patient inquiries, relay messages, and escalate urgent concerns as directed.
  • Track patient follow-ups, prescription refills, and lab or referral coordination.
  • Ensure all communication complies with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, notes, and other documentation as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or healthcare administrative support preferred.
  • Familiarity with U.S. healthcare systems, EHR platforms, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work night shift aligned to U.S. hours.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in mental health or psychiatry support is a plus.
  • Experience with patient scheduling software or telehealth platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
