Responsibilities

  • Extract relevant information from patient records
  • Liaise with physicians and other parties to clarify documentation
  • Review and examine documents for missing or incomplete information
  • Assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, ASA, APC, and DRG codes
  • Ensure documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors
  • Perform chart audits
  • Provide guidance and training to physicians and staff on coding practices
  • Report issues with equipment or software to the supervisor
  • Ensure strict adherence to medical coding policies and compliance standards

(5) MEDICAL CODERS

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with physicians or staff to clarify documentation details
  • Assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, ASA, APC, and DRG codes
  • Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Ensure all entries are grammatically correct and free of typographical errors
  • Conduct chart audits as required
  • Provide coding support and training to healthcare staff
  • Report technical or software issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with coding guidelines, system updates, and regulations

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • Graduate of Nursing (Required),Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Can speak and understand English
  • With or without experience (training provided)
  • Preferably based in Davao City
  • OFFICE BASED
  • Willing to start ASAP
