Your Role:

As a Purchasing Sourcing Specialist, you will:

• Research, vet, and perform all Supplier Selection, RFP, RFQ, and related sourcing duties as required on assigned products and items, including annual source benchmarking projects.
• Support Custom Team and mine Salesforce Database to garner necessary information required to source new items for quick-turn sourcing.
• Generate and administer internal and external purchase orders (PO) and all support activities as required.
• Support, create, maintain, analyze, expedite, and report backorder status.
• Expedite TCM Master Asset Files and/or OEM specifications as required to meet required delivery dates.
• Create and/or load product data, UOM, and specification information for new TCM or OEM items into ERP / PLC database as needed.
• Interface with Suppliers and Internal Production as required.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables

• B.A./B.S. degree and 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials
• Working understanding and experience in supply chain sourcing, inventory management, purchasing, and MRP/ERP concepts
• MRP/ERP procurement system experience, NetSuite preferred
• Sourcing, RFQ, and Purchase Order generation experience

Preferred skills/expertise

• Exceptional MS Excel skills, proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate applicable specifications
• Consummate team player with superior interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Superb verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Able to support peak workload schedule overtime requirements
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, including at a computer
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard, mouse, and lifting or transferring of items
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, or kneeling
