Role Description:

The Operations Enhancement Manager (Business Improvement Manager) is a full-time, hybrid (on-site and off-site) role responsible for institutionalizing SME operational improvements and maintaining optimal business performance through data-driven analysis and strategic insights.

This role requires identifying market gaps and opportunities that can be leveraged by the Sales and Business Development Teams, taking into account the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and associated risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts comprehensive analyses of overall business performance to identify key factors influencing the achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Develops and presents data-driven strategies and performance drivers to SME department heads to enhance business outcomes.
  • Secures alignment and approval of action plans from all stakeholders, with concurrence from the business head.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of agreed action plans, providing periodic, data-backed progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Reviews Business, Department, and Individual Scorecards, KPIs, and KRAs to identify performance gaps and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzes market trends and merchant data to uncover new opportunities, strengthen market penetration, and reinforce brand presence.
  • Utilizes internal and external data tools to perform detailed analyses and craft actionable business proposals.
  • Collaborates closely with data analysts and key personnel to maintain the highest level of data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assists the business head in overseeing strategic projects, product development, operational monitoring, and data preparation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a department or division head in data analytics, business operations, sales, and/or marketing within the financial services or retail industry.
  • Highly analytical and strategic thinker with a strong reliance on data-driven decision-making.
  • Skilled in interpreting financial data and developing effective, measurable action plans.
  • Proficient in creating, monitoring, and evaluating both strategic and tactical business plans.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience in business analytics, operations, sales, business development, and/or marketing—preferably in the retail or financial services sectors.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and gain support from key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in driving operational enhancements and developing financial products and services.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of achieving agreed-upon goals and performance targets.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities, strong commitment to follow-through, and disciplined work habits.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire sales teams to achieve organizational success, whether independently or collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
