Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will help non-native speakers build their English skills in a supportive, engaging, and interactive environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in literacy education, classroom management, and experience working with diverse learners.

Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday- 2 pm to 2:50 pm Pacific Daylight Time
  • Friday- 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm Pacific Daylight Time
  • Saturday - 9:30 am to 10:20 am Pacific Daylight Time (not fixed, so flexibility is required)

***Since this is a part-time role, teaching will only be required when classes are scheduled during these time slots. Applicants must be flexible, especially for occasional Saturday sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging, interactive English-speaking sessions tailored to student proficiency.
  • Prepare lesson plans and activities to build fluency, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
  • Provide constructive, timely feedback to support student progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and proficiency levels.

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of English with strong communication skills.
  • Experience teaching or tutoring ESL students.
  • Ability to design interactive, practical lessons that promote active participation.
  • Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to student success.
