About the Job:

The Senior Data Analyst is a strategic partner, responsible for empowering the entire organization to make data-informed decisions. This involves developing robust BI tooling, data models, and performing in-depth analysis. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to address complex business challenges, leveraging your broad experience in call center metrics, marketing analytics, and enterprise reporting. The scope of this role is expansive and requires a generalist mindset, with the ability to transition from core business metrics to sophisticated analyses that influence strategic direction. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of solving problems, is data-driven, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. This role reports directly to the VP of Data & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a lead liaison between analytics and key business stakeholders to ensure new initiatives have well-defined measurement plans and data requirements from their inception.
• Work closely with business teams to identify important questions, define key success metrics, and shape data-informed decisions across the organization.
• Lead hands-on, detailed data research and analysis; investigate, troubleshoot, and solve data quality issues.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving data processes and mentor them on how to best utilize designed reporting and functionality to monitor KPIs.
• Own the development, maintenance, and delivery of the BI pipeline, turning raw data into compelling dashboards and enterprise reports.
• Lead the development and documentation of organizational data assets and definitions.
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practice for a high-scale data environment, and advocate for these standards through code review.
• Be accountable for the development and implementation of solid QA processes, ensuring the data and reports delivered to the business are always accurate.
• Collaborate with a nationally distributed data team to drive significant impact on the organization's strategic initiatives

Basic Qualification:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, enterprise reporting, and call center analytics.
• Experience in a consulting or finance background is also beneficial.
• Advanced analysis skills: Advanced SQL, experience with many different types of databases and pulling data from different sources.
• Strong data modeling skills
• Demonstrated experience and passion for developing clear and easy to understand metrics and dashboards/visualizations (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Ability to explain translate business needs to technical execution and effectively communicate your analyses to groups of stakeholders
• Ability to lead a group of analysts in a project, or a group of cross-functional stakeholders in a requirements gathering session
• A strong communicator (both verbal and written) with great critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
• Creative, positive, and helpful attitude; a team oriented, customer-centric working style.
• Adaptable and able to navigate a rapidly growing organization: not afraid to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenging problems

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, or Looker
• Experience architecting data warehouses or relational databases
• Google Analytics, Fullstory, Mixpanel
• High-growth startups
• Ability to use statistics to develop robust analysis and recommendations. The candidate draws from experience to know when, why, and how to apply statistical methods
• Knowledge of statistical methods in order to construct and analyze A/B tests
