About the role

FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION (FORMERLY SANKO FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION' is seeking a talented and customer-focused Health Insurance Account representative to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, ensuring they receive the insurance and benefits coverage they need.

What you'll be doing

  1. Answering inbound calls from customers and providing prompt, efficient, and courteous assistance
  2. Assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate insurance and benefit solutions
  3. Explaining policy details, coverage options, and claims processes to customers
  4. Resolving customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  5. Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in our systems
  6. Collaborating with the broader team to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

  1. Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality support
  2. Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
  4. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of customer inquiries
  5. Proficiency in using computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  6. A collaborative mindset and the willingness to work as part of a team
