About the role
FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION (FORMERLY SANKO FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION' is seeking a talented and customer-focused Health Insurance Account representative to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, ensuring they receive the insurance and benefits coverage they need.
What you'll be doing
- Answering inbound calls from customers and providing prompt, efficient, and courteous assistance
- Assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate insurance and benefit solutions
- Explaining policy details, coverage options, and claims processes to customers
- Resolving customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in our systems
- Collaborating with the broader team to identify and implement process improvements
What we're looking for
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality support
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of customer inquiries
- Proficiency in using computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- A collaborative mindset and the willingness to work as part of a team
