The role also leads different aspects of the forecasting and planning cycle. The role also identifies process improvements in the planning and reporting workflow.1. Computation and Analysis of Embedded Value2. Supports computation and analysis of forecast Embedded Value3. Supports the annual SAA and Actuarial Assumptions Review and updates the official Best Estimate Assumptions documents for GWS requirements4. Develop, maintain and improve EV models, including set-up of new products in the Prophet workspace, working with the centralized modeling team to vet models and ensure these are ready for production5. Continuously improve reporting processes by streamlining manual processes, DCS automation, improving worksheet efficiencies, etc.6. Lead BAU Reinsurance reporting and other special projects that may be assigned from time-to-time (e.g., sensitivity testing, impact quantification, special initiatives, etc.)Education & ExperienceGraduate of Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or similar coursesAt least AASP levelAt least ten years actuarial experience, preferably in value reporting and business planning Experience in management reporting and explaining variances to prior periods and planProphet and DCS experience is highly preferredDemonstrated process improvement advocateHas worked in a multinational insurance company is highly preferredPrivacy NoticeYour privacy is a priority for FWD.  The Company keeps your personal information with us in confidence.
