  • Ensure technical/engineering designs meet required standards, specifications, and client quality policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in tender preparation and project management activities as needed.
  • Detailed substation secondary systems design, specifications, documentation, and reports as required.
  • Assistance with commissioning of HV Secondary Systems as required.
  • Create appropriate technical documentation as required; FAT testing as required; assistance with maintenance and fault finding of installations, carry out systems studies and power systems analyses as required; pre-commissioning and commissioning of new and refurbished equipment and systems where required.
  • Possess turnkey project expertise in transmission and distribution substation design from concept to commissioning including knowledge of industry and different client standards.
  • Have significant knowledge of different Secondary and Protection products and communications protocols as typically used on substation and renewable energy projects.
  • Have the ability to configure and fault-find differnet Secondary and Protection hardware and platforms.
  • Have 7 to 10 years' experience at a senior level with substation design and/or utility grid connections.
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
