Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

This hands-on and detail-oriented generalist role will manage and execute essential HR functions in a high-volume call center and case processing environment. The HR Advocate is operationally focused and involves day-to-day responsibilities in benefits administration, compensation, talent acquisition, learning and performance, regulatory compliance, and data management. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services to employees and managers.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Administer employee benefits programs, including off-cycle enrolment and troubleshooting eligibility inquiries.
  2. Review and process Qualified Life Events, providing direct employee follow-up where necessary.
  3. Provide compassionate education and guidance during the Death Claim intake process.
  4. Work with benefits vendors to ensure proper enrolment and delivery of services.
  5. Educate employees on benefits options and support annual open enrolment processes.
  6. Guide managers on the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings and onboarding.
  7. Assist employees with inquiries regarding leave programs, ensuring compliance with plan guidelines.
  8. Provide guidance on compensation policies and practices, directing questions to appropriate centers of excellence.
  9. Maintain meticulous records and manage data within HRIS platforms.
  10. Collaborate with team members to enhance HR service delivery and improve processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
  • Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred)

  • 1-2 years' experience in a call center or high-volume operational environment (required)

  • 1 year of experience in HR functions such as benefits or recruitment (preferred)
  • Willing to work in a NIGHT SHIFT schedule
