Duties and Responsibilities of a Licensed Credit Appraiser

• Conduct thorough inspections and physical evaluations of properties or collateral offered to the bank for loan applications, foreclosure, or sale purposes.
• Analyze current market conditions, comparable sales, property values, and local economic factors to determine accurate and fair market value estimates.
• Prepare detailed and well-documented appraisal reports that include valuation methodologies, findings, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Ensure all appraisals comply with local regulatory requirements, banking policies, and professional ethics.
• Collaborate with credit officers and other relevant bank departments by providing expert advice on collateral values and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of appraisal activities, inspection logs, and valuation reports for audit and internal review.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, zoning laws, property tax data, and market developments that may affect property values.
• Use appraisal software and databases to support accurate data analysis and efficient report generation.
• Communicate appraisal findings effectively to stakeholders, including clients, credit teams, and supervisors.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies or disputes related to property valuations through clear and objective evidence.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current on appraisal standards and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Business, Commerce, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• Licensed Real Estate Appraiser certification or license is highly preferred or an advantage.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Credit Investigator or Appraiser in a banking institution or appraisal firm.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to systematically evaluate property values and creditworthiness of loan applicants.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively prepare appraisal reports and coordinate with different stakeholders.
• Proficient in using appraisal software and databases; good record-keeping and reporting capability.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills to meet report submission deadlines.
• Knowledge of applicable local regulations, banking policies, and ethical standards in property appraisal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php19,000.00 per month
