THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a well-established Australian insurance specialist with over 20 years of experience specializing in tailored, commercial-scale insurance and risk management solutions. Their services cover general insurance, professional and financial risks, workers' compensation, claims management, finance broking, and advisory support across a wide range of industries.
As the Assistant Client Executive supporting our client's Small/Medium Enterprise accounts, you will respond to action items from Account Brokers, Account Managers, and the Divisional Manager. You will also deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while providing high-level support to team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all requests.
This role requires being on-site during probation. Thereafter, onsite presence is ideally once a week, with a minimum requirement of once a month, following Australian business hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Philippine Time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-level administrative and customer service support to Account Brokers, Managers, and clients.
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, amendments, and policy documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare quotations, correspondence, and reports between clients, insurers, and underwriters.
- Monitor and update claims status reports to ensure timely follow-ups.
- Perform premium calculations and allocations as directed by clients.
- Assist with debtor management and maintain financial accuracy.
- Support the broking and administration teams in achieving business objectives and budget targets.
- Experience in Workers Compensation insurance would be highly beneficial.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Business/Finance/Commerce or equivalent is advantageous.
- 2-3 years of working experience in the Insurance Broking Industry.
- Working towards further appropriate qualifications (Tier 1 & Tier 2 Insurance Broking Compliance).
- Australian broking experience is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to assist in developing relationships and liaising with clients at all levels.
- Customer service skills and business acumen.
- Proficient in administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
