QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License ( Passed Board Professional License Exam ) in Civil Engineer. Or
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years work experience with above-average knowledge in project cost estimates, detailed bills of quantities, quantity surveying, cost metrics , material costing, planning, bidding process , and contract management.
  • Has experience in MEPF's works.
  • With above-average communication skills including written correspondences.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office , AutoCAD and Primavera or equivalent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of timely submission of Detailed Project Cost Estimate prepared by the QS Survey Team including detailed bill of quantities covering the following: project cashflow forecasts, monthly progress billings, costing of variations, cost reconciliation and estimated final contract value.
  • Preparation of correspondences and notices related to project cost, claims, variations ensuring maximum entitlements & recovery of possible claims & variations.
  • Assist in the QS Manager during coordination with Client and Finance Department regarding claims discussions, compliance of contract document , entitlements & recovery of claimable costs and variations.
  • Assist the QS Manager in reviewing the Contractual Obligations of all parties involved in the project construction including review of purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to Project Policy.
  • Attendance and participation in kick-off meeting, site meetings, project coordination meetings.
