Job Descruption:

The Motor Pool Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company's motor pool, ensuring all vehicles are properly assigned, maintained, and compliant with company policies. This role supervises drivers, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, monitors fuel usage, and ensures compliance with safety, security, and government regulations. The position also prepares reports, manages vehicle records, and ensures efficient utilization of resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all activities related to company vehicles, including dispatching, usage, and return.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company Vehicle Assignment and Usage Policy.
  • Oversee drivers' performance, trip monitoring, and adherence to safety/security protocols.
  • Schedule and monitor vehicle preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure availability of vehicles for operations while minimizing downtime.
  • Manage fuel consumption records, cost control, and reporting.
  • Maintain updated vehicle records (LTO registration, insurance, maintenance logs, trip tickets, etc.).
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and spot checks on vehicles and drivers.
  • Prepare regular reports for Facilities Manager/VP Facilities.
  • Assist in incident/accident investigations and enforce sanctions when necessary.
  • Reporting directly to Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Business Administration.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in fleet/motor pool management, preferably in the Philippines.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, government regulations (LTO, LTFRB, insurance), and safety standards.
  • With supervisory experience handling drivers, mechanics, or fleet staff.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with fleet management systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Holder of a valid Professional Driver's License (Restriction 1,2; 3 preferred).
