BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering

· Licensed Registered Mechanical Engineer is required

· With no less than 5 year of relevant work experience in manufacturing or service setting doing mechanical or maintenance works

· Has gained expertise in the operation and maintenance of Compressor, Chiller, Steam Generators, Cooling Towers, Gen Set, Hydraulics and Pneumatics and MOTORPOOL. Is able to write Reports related to the foregoing equipment.

· Able to communicate well both spoken and written

· Knowledgeable in MS Application especially Excel.

· Has had experience in leading a team of technicians, workers, contractors in the mechanical trade.

BRIEF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establishes and maintains a work order system, including a system to determine work priority, to ensure that the more important jobs are attended to first.

Maintains a master schedule of projects, job orders, and other maintenance activities; use this to monitor and control status of work in the section.

Directs the Preventive Maintenance to ensure adequate attention is given to the Company's production mechanical facilities.

Ensures that the mechanical machineries and equipment maintained and compliant with the standard quality management system.

Maintains machinery and equipment records, including repair works performed.

Coordinates with the production units and the preventive maintenance group during preventive maintenance inspections and shutdowns to undertake major repairs.

Reviews purchase requisitions for parts and supplies.

Inspects purchased mechanical spare parts prior to acceptance by the stock room to ensure that they meet specifications.

Reviews requests for fabrication of parts and accessories to determine if the fabrication is cost effective and to assess if the section has the required capability to fabricate.
