We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Virtual Assistant-Bookkeeper to join our team. Your expertise will be invaluable as you contribute to our commitment to financial excellence.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  2. Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions.
  3. Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
  4. Prepare financial reports and summaries on a regular basis.
  5. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
  6. Process both simple and complex payrolls, adhering to Australian standards.
  7. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with Australian regulations.
  8. Utilize your expertise in BAS lodgments and Australian payroll to maintain accurate records and reports.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper with a focus on Australian bookkeeping practices.
  • Mandatory experience in Australian payroll processing and BAS lodgment.
  • Prior experience working at an accounting firm is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • High attention to detail and precision in managing financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
