Job Opportunity: Senior Bookkeeper for US-Based Bookkeeping Office

Our client, The Bookkeeping Factory LLC, a U.S.-based remote bookkeeping practice serving small and mid-sized businesses across various industries, is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to manage key accounts and oversee a small team of bookkeepers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, professional, and supportive firm with a strong reputation for accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.


Job Description
  • Work directly on larger and higher-profile client accounts.
  • Manage and supervise other bookkeepers handling smaller accounts.
  • Review financial statements, ensure accuracy, and maintain high standards of client service.
  • Communicate professionally with clients via Teams/Zoom, email, and chat.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.

  • Strong proficiency in:

  • Accounts Receivable / Payable

  • Reconciliations
  • General Ledger Management
  • Payroll
  • Month-End Close
  • Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Reviews
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO).

  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including:

  • VLOOKUPs

  • Pivot Tables

  • Proven track record in:

  • Working with small businesses.

  • Experience in a bookkeeping firm or similar environment.
  • Managing and training other bookkeepers.
  • 3-4 years of management or supervisory experience is required for team leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and client-focused demeanor.
  • We're looking for someone who projects a professional and polished presence and can represent the firm well in client interactions, both on video calls and in written communication.

  • Work Hours: North America business hours (any time zone).
  • Must be available to work during PST/PDT time zone hours to align with business operations.
  • Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time.
