Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled
Software Developer Manager
who will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced software and AI-driven solutions that support the organization's strategic objectives. This role requires strong technical depth, leadership capability, and proven end-to-end project management expertise. You will oversee a team of Software Developers and AI Engineers, guiding them in building secure, scalable, and high-performing systems that drive innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategy

· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Software Developers and AI Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

· Define the technical roadmap and long-term strategy for software and AI initiatives in alignment with business goals.

· Manage team capacity, project priorities, and delivery timelines to ensure on-time deployment of production-ready software systems and AI models.

2. End-to-End Project Management and Deployment

· Oversee the complete project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution planning to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

· Plan and allocate resources, manage project timelines, budgets, and dependencies, and ensure all deliverables meet quality and security standards.

· Supervise version control processes, deployment automation, documentation, and system maintenance activities.

3. AI Workflow Design and Optimization

· Design and implement AI-driven workflows that streamline and improve critical business processes.

· Optimize and refine existing AI models to enhance performance, accuracy, and efficiency.

· Ensure development follows best practices for scalability, maintainability, and secure AI implementation.

· Maintain, update, and enhance existing applications, websites, and backend functionalities.

4. Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance

· Provide expert oversight across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including architecture design, database management, and system integration.

· Establish and enforce standards for code quality, security, unit testing, and debugging.

· Implement MLOps best practices such as CI/CD pipelines, model governance, version control, and monitoring for AI and Generative AI systems.

5. Collaboration and Communication

· Collaborate closely with Top Management and Department Heads to translate business requirements into effective technical and AI-powered solutions.

· Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and resource needs clearly and proactively.

· Address technical support requests and resolve system issues escalated by application users.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in BS ECE, BSCoE, BSCS, BSIT, MSIT, or related field.

· Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or similar leadership position, preferably with exposure to AI/ML teams or AI-related initiatives.

· Strong background in delivering complex software projects from concept to production deployment.

· Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies, with a solid grasp of the full SDLC.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong decision-making skills for addressing technical challenges.

Technical Proficiency

AI / ML Core

· Understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

· Experience designing AI architectures, building data pipelines, and deploying models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Programming Languages & Frameworks

· C# and ASP.NET Core MVC

· React (Functional Components + Hooks)

· ECMAScript 6, HTML, CSS

Data & Backend

· Microsoft SQL (database architecture, optimization, indexing, performance tuning)

· Entity Framework 6 / EF Core

· Strong proficiency in designing and managing RESTful Web APIs

Tooling & Operations

· Proficiency in Git version control

· Expertise in IIS server performance tuning, debugging, and load testing

· Python for scripting, automation, and AI development
