Job summary:Ensure the trucker meets the KPIMaintaining the efficiency of Logistics OperationsOverseeing the overall Logistics operationsImprove the current processRecommends cost-cutting measures to make the transportation more profitable Vendor Management.Key responsibilities:Coordinate with Central Hub/MFC Team for all Outbound transactionsMonitor the efficiency of middle mile truckersPerform daily audits product handling and stacking to minimize damage and promote safe handling of product during loading and unloadingEnsure all orders are dispatched on timeEvaluate existing middle mile processProvide training programs on new processes as neededIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesImpose sanctions / disciplinary action for any violations committed by truckersResponsible for implementation of all SOPs in daily middle mile operationsEnsure timely pull out of RTV and Hub to Hub Intra warehouse transferDetermine what are the bottlenecks in the process and provide resolutionsTo evaluate staff performance, determines training requirements to ensure that skills & knowledge are enhanced as part of staff development programRecommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequencyMonitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costsIdentify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics processEnsure metrics, reports, and process documentation is availableInterpret trends and analyze and review data.
