JOB SUMMARY

The role focuses on keeping our Linux and Windows servers stable, secure, and well-maintained across all environments while managing backups, storage, and access, supporting infrastructure improvements, and working with technical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain, secure, and update Linux (Red Hat) and Windows servers across Development, UAT, Training, Staging, and Production environments, including IMC and Regional Offices.
  • Administer Windows Server , Active Directory, SAN storage (IBM/HP), IBM Blade Servers, and backup solutions (IBM TSM).
  • Ensure daily backups, system access control, server integrity, and compliance with security and maintenance procedures.
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues in coordination with Network Engineering and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Support infrastructure design, server configuration testing, optimization, documentation, disaster recovery planning, and data archiving.
  • Provide user support, training, and contribute to Business Continuity Planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux Red Hat and Windows OS/Active Directory.
  • Experience with Blade server architecture, SAN storage, and IBM TSM is preferred.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, network performance tuning, and general problem diagnosis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, coordinate with teams, and maintain high quality standards.
  • Technically adept, quick learner, and able to adapt to complex environments.

  • Worksite is at IMC Building LRA Compound East Ave. cor. NIA Road, Diliman, Quezon City
  • Work schedule is shifting; the role operates 24/7.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience is required.
  • Employment type is Consultancy Contract for 1 year.
