  • Administer operating systems including performance monitoring, operations planning, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Work inside the ticketing system to ensure issues are handled in a timely manner.
  • Work with Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and operating systems.
  • Utilize procedures and standards to ensure operational consistency on a global basis and update documentation as required.
  • Maintain records on repairs, downtime, and configuration changes.
  • Participate in planning and implementation of OS changes including version upgrades, and updates.
  • Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and support.
  • Participate in capacity planning including forecasting of needs for future infrastructure related purchases.
  • Perform statistical reporting, recording and maintenance of software, and licensing inventory.
  • Monitor system performance and tune performance as necessary.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hours support and maintenance globally.
  • Work within a complex mixed environment with on premise systems and cloud (Azure) based.
  • Analyze business and system functions to determine the need for system solutions.
  • Create documentation for training and support.
  • Maintain uptime of systems and support operational needs of the users

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field or two (2) years of related experience.
  • Related experience in server administration and networking.
  • Experience with Windows, Unix and Linux-based server environments.
  • VMWare certification a plus, experience required.
  • Experience in cloud deployment and administration (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Possesses a "security first" mindset.
  • Experience with replication, distribution, availability, recovery, and deployment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Availability for after hours and weekend work as needed.
  • Experience with PCI and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
  • Will be required to participate in an on-call rotation.

Work Setup:

  • Able to work on-site (BGC Taguig City)
  • Willing to work on a Shifting Schedule
  • 6-month project-based with possible absorption.
