Job Title: Systems Administrator – Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

Location: BGC, Taguig City

Employment Type: 6 months contract

Role Summary

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and support our global infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments. This role ensures system reliability, security compliance, and operational consistency across Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor operating systems for performance and reliability
  • Manage Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-level issues
  • Maintain records of repairs, configuration changes, and downtime
  • Plan and implement OS upgrades and patches
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts
  • Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure forecasting
  • Maintain software licensing inventory and generate reports
  • Follow global standards and update documentation as needed
  • Provide off-hours support through on-call rotation
  • Work within hybrid environments including on-premise and Azure cloud
  • Analyze system functions and recommend improvements
  • Create documentation for training and support
  • Ensure high system uptime and support user needs

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Experience with Windows, Unix, and Linux server environments
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • VMWare experience required; certification is a plus
  • Strong understanding of system availability, recovery, and deployment
  • Familiarity with PCI and SOX compliance
  • Security-focused mindset
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Availability for after-hours and weekend support

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Alternatively, 2+ years of experience in server administration and networking
