SUMMARY

The Systems Administrator is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining a stable IT environment for clients. This role acts as the first point of contact for service requests and incidents, providing remote support while escalating complex issues when necessary. The position requires professionalism, strong communication, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide best-in-class technical support to clients primarily via phone and email, with occasional onsite visits.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and peers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Record all work activities in the ticketing system (ConnectWise).
  • Multi-task and manage multiple client issues simultaneously.
  • Document and escalate technical issues to the appropriate subject matter expert (SME) team when required.
  • Perform system administration tasks including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure/Intune management.
  • Troubleshoot networking, hardware, and software issues.
  • Support and provide expertise on Microsoft 365 suite of products, continuously self-learning new updates.
  • Administer VMware vSphere environments and Windows Server platforms.
  • Configure and manage print queues, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and related infrastructure.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure data accuracy within tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to meet team goals and KPIs.
  • Be flexible with work schedules, including occasional out-of-hours support for onboardings or projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience in technical support or systems administration preferrably in an MSP environment.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Intune.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012+.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Experience with VMware vSphere administration.
  • Familiarity with two-factor authentication systems (e.g., Duo Security).
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach. (Can speak american accent and no local accent)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
  • Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft preferred) are a plus.
  • Experience in support Mac OS X devices
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Comfortable working with remote teams and collaborating across multiple time zones.
  • Amenable to working U.S. Pacific Time hours.
  • Flexible to adapt to changing business priorities and technical environments.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel as needed.
