Summary:

This role will be the responsible in major repair and troubleshooting of an equipment by providing his technical specializations. He shall also attend all breakdown per his immediate superiors instruction. He shall train junior technicians to become specialist through buddy system. He shall be responsible in assessing recommendations by vendors and service providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform hydraulic and electrical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot issues with electrical system of diesel engines, hydraulic and transmission system.
  • Determine parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
  • Maintain LBE in its optimum condition
  • Works and collaborates with LBE operators and other technicians
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Train electrical technicians through buddy system
  • Perform and lead equipment overhauling
  • Recondition parts assembly for spare parts availability
  • Assist vendors or service provider's repair or maintenance activities
  • Validate vendor's assessment before they recommend electrical/electromechanical parts and services needed
  • Recommend and identify parts for replacement

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Automotive Aircon Repairs, Electrical repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of Hydraulic,heavy equipment, trucks and diesel engine
  • Graduate in Automotive Course or any Vocational/Technical school
  • At least 3 years of technical experience in heavy equipment, mining, construction, hydraulic and transmission system..
  • NCII certification is an advantage.
