Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and revise construction drawings, plans, layouts, and details using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Interpret design concepts, sketches, and specifications from engineers, architects, or project managers.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with Philippine building standards, codes, and company drafting procedures.
  • Prepare as-built drawings and coordinate updates during various project phases.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve design discrepancies or conflicts.
  • Maintain organized drawing files (both electronic and printed) and ensure revision control.
  • Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimations when needed.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or related course.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience as a CAD Operator or Draftsman in a construction company or engineering consultancy.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D); knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD tools is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, building systems, and Philippine construction standards.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
