SUMMARY:

The
SIEM Associate Manager
will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing security measures to safeguard enterprise systems, applications, data, and infrastructures. This role involves managing a team, ensuring optimal performance, and leading initiatives that protect organizational assets from cyber threats.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a
    Subject Matter Expert (SME)
    in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Manage and collaborate with a security team to ensure effective operations and decision-making.
  • Take ownership of team-level and cross-functional decisions impacting cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Develop and implement robust security controls, monitoring systems, and preventive measures.
  • Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning.
  • Provide expert solutions to security challenges and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure alignment with enterprise security goals and compliance standards.

PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Required:
    Expert proficiency in
    Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
    tools and methodologies.
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    in SIEM-related functions.
  • Minimum
    2 years of experience leading or managing a team
    in a cybersecurity environment.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, and incident response.
  • Knowledge of implementing security controls, standards, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with
    regulatory compliance
    requirements in the cybersecurity domain.
