About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SOC Manager to oversee Security Operations Center (SOC) functions and lead cybersecurity defense initiatives for client environments. This role involves managing SOC operations, threat monitoring, incident response, and team leadership to ensure the protection and resilience of enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day SOC operations, ensuring effective threat detection, analysis, and response.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sentinel design, log integration, and Use Case development.
  • Lead incident response efforts, coordinate escalations, and manage client communications.
  • Monitor service delivery against contractual KPIs and SLAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Mentor, train, and develop SOC team members to build technical excellence.
  • Participate in business development and proposal activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in information or cybersecurity roles focused on security monitoring and analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing SOC or security operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of IT security tools (SIEM, CASB, DLP, WAF, MFA, DRM, IAM, PAM).
  • Experience engaging directly with clients, managing escalations, and ensuring service quality.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, PCI, HIPAA, SOX, or FISMA standards.
  • Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CISA, Azure Security Engineer, AWS or GCP Security certifications.
  • Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of public cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS standards.
