Responsibilities

  • Record and post financial entries on the respective ledger of accounts of the company
  • Record incoming cash and deposit at the bank
  • Keep track of daily financial transactions of the company
  • Reconcile bank and other accounts
  • Make journal entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
  • Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements
  • Petty cash recording
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of every bank account
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Keep the books of accounts updated at all times
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Review financial transactions for accuracy
  • Submit monthly reports as Profit and Loss statements/Income statements, and Balance sheet
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Follow accounting standard procedures

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in any business-related course.
  • Hardworking and willing to be trained.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting staff.
  • Knowledgeable in office software such as Excel, Word, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience in posting accounting entries and preparation of financial reports. Payroll experience is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy at work. Independent, creative, and willing to learn.
  • Experience in Odoo software is a plus
