Position Summary:
The purpose of the Accounting Assistant role is to assist the Accounts Team in the End-to-end processing of accounts payable and end of month accounting requirements. This position requires the team member to be detail-orientated and skilled at juggling many competing priorities and stakeholders, whilst completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Due to these demands, the role requires someone who works well under pressure, is a good problem solver, and can provide excellent customer service.
We are looking for a flexible accounting professional with a 'can do attitude' who has an eagle-eye for detail and a passion for spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills, a proactive nature and a desire to succeed will see you progress within this growing business.
We are offering a signing Bonus of one month salary. The signing bonus will be payable after 3 months of continuous service.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Accounts payable processing
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Bank account reconciliations
- End of month reconciliations
- Admin support to the Accounts Managers
Benefits of the position:
Full time position based in our Cebu City Office.
The shift hours will be from 8:30am - 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. No shifting schedule, no late nights or weekends

Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounting role
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
- Non-CPAs are very much welcome to apply
- Experience working with Australian or multinational companies is desirable
- Experience with cloud accounting software, such as Quickbooks, Xero and MYOB
- Experience in high volume data entry to meet internal deadlines and cut off points
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
