Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant is responsible for assisting in day-to-day financial operations within the office, including cash flow management, payroll processing, expense monitoring, and general accounting support. This position ensures that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, organized, and compliant with company policies and accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient working capital.
  • Prepare and process employee payroll accurately and on time.
  • Compute employee salaries, deductions, allowances, and benefits.
  • Process supplier payments and ensure timely settlements.
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and update customer account balances.
  • Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and adjusting entries as needed.
  • Help prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage and organize accounting files and financial documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (entry-level accepted).
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and basic tax compliance preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
