Primary Objective of Position
The Store Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting in daily store operations, managing inventory, and ensuring that the Balay Boutique is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging with customers, with the ability to communicate effectively and upsell products. A passion for promoting local items and souvenirs that reflect the island's unique culture and charm is essential.
Essential Functions
Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide product information, handle inquiries, and process sales transactions.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the boutique.
Monitor and replenish merchandise displays as needed.
Receive, stock, and track inventory accurately.
Ensure proper tagging, pricing, and product presentation.
Follow payment collection handling and POS procedures correctly.
Support in store opening and closing duties.
Assist during promotions, events, and special sales.
Collaborate with other departments for operational needs or guest requests.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Position Specifications Requirements
● College level or graduate, preferably in Retail, Hospitality, Tourism, or Business
Administration
● At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service (experience in boutique
or resort operations is an advantage)
● Knowledge of inventory management
● Good written and verbal communication skills
● Computer (and Microsoft Excel) literate
● Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
● Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with luxury service standards
● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as
needed.
● Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
