Job Description

As a Data Investigation Analyst, you will act as the frontline detective for customer inquiries and data irregularities, resolving issues via Zendesk, documenting insights in Confluence, and improving system clarity using SQL/Python. Your role is key in driving consistent, high-performing data pipelines.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Data QA, process documentation, or technical writing experience (internship/full-time)
• Detail orientation and comfort documenting workflows
• 1-3 years experience in Data Analytics
• Familiarity with basic SQL/Python and data pipelines
• Strong English writing and editing skills
• Experience with Confluence, Google Docs, Slack, or similar tools
• Curiosity and investigative mindset

Nice to Have:

• Diploma in technical communication, information science, or library science
• Experience with Networking performance and QoE measurements (mobile and fixed)
• BPO or KPO background

Expectations for Success

• You are able to understand individual data products and their processing pipelines using available resources such as knowledge bases, Slack, LLM tools, your manager, colleagues, and code review.
• You can thoroughly document your findings on how data pipelines work in the correct knowledge base.
• You are excited to learn and open to receiving mentorship from more senior team members.
• You can collaborate effectively with colleagues from other teams.
• As you become more proficient with the company's products and data analytics, you can work increasingly independently of your team lead.
• You use your experience and investigative skills to distinguish between relevant and outdated documentation and can submit deletion or update requests.
• You are able to incorporate LLM/AI tools to accelerate investigations, while applying critical thinking to ensure accuracy.
• You proactively bring concerns and suggestions for improvements to your manager.

Your Daily Tasks

• Process incoming queries from Customer Support, TAMs, or NDAs via Zendesk
• Publish answers to recurring questions by collecting from Slack and other sources
• Document methodologies, data models, and pipelines using OpenMetadata or Confluence
• Use LLM tools to answer frequently asked questions
• Track steps and resolutions in Zendesk
• Respond to tickets when data values are within expected behavior
• Troubleshoot data issues, identify system causes, and escalate via Jira
• Analyze underperforming queries to diagnose root causes
