Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will support the accounting department in performing various tasks, gaining hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and other related activities.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Documentation:

  • Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Accounts Reconciliation:

  • Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Identify discrepancies and report findings to the supervisor.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support the team during audits by gathering and organizing required documents.

General Accounting Support:

  • Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Support payroll processing and expense tracking.

Administrative Duties:

  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and emailing.
  • Manage invoice distribution and tracking.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Set Up

  • 8 hour shift
  • Onsite Mon to Fri
  • 9:00am to 6:00pm
