About the Role
Tax and Accounting firm is seeking for an experienced Accountant with expertise in tax compliance and general accounting to join our team.
The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounting processes, ensure full compliance with BIR regulations, and support management with accurate and timely financial reporting.
This is an on-site position (Monday to Friday) requiring immediate availability. Applicants who do not reside in Metro Manila or cannot start immediately will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and process payments for all tax returns (VAT, EWT, Income Tax, etc.) in compliance with BIR deadlines and requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports and statements.
- Handle general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal adjustments.
- Liaise with external auditors, BIR examiners, and government agencies when necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses and reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- CPA license is an advantage but not required.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of solid experience in accounting and tax compliance.
- Strong understanding of BIR regulations, eFPS, eBIRForms, and related systems.
- Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking.
- Must be based in Metro Manila and ready to start immediately.
