Role Overview
The Inside Sales Specialist is a proactive and customer-focused role designed to support Enterprise Sales team. This position plays a key part in systematic lead follow up, renewals, retention efforts, and inbound/outbound engagement. Based in the
Philippines, Inside Sales Specialists provide remote support to Field Account Managers
(AMs) in Singapore, helping accelerate customer acquisition and retention. Performance
will be measured against overall sales outcomes, requiring strong CRM discipline, excellent
communication skills, and the ability to handle both inbound and outbound sales functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Opportunity Management
• Handle Zoho-generated leads (primarily SMEs with fewer than 5 employees).
• Ensure accurate opportunity creation, updates, and assignment tagging in Zoho
CRM.
• Follow up systematically to maximise conversion rates.
Renewals & Recontracting
• Track and engage customers approaching contract expiry, ensuring recontracts are
completed in a timely manner.
• Improve recontract rates by coordinating with AMs on retention and renewal
strategies.
• Ensure service continuity for all renewing accounts.
Customer Retention
• Act on cancellation alerts, win-back opportunities, and downgrade risks.
• Use structured retention scripts and frameworks to salvage accounts.
• Work with AMs on customised recovery plans for at-risk customers.
Outbound & AI Engagement
• Call outbound and AI-generated leads, qualifying opportunities and creating
follow-up actions in Zoho.
• Re-engage with previously lost opportunities, checking for revived interest.
Sales Hotline Support
• Support the inbound sales hotline during rostered shifts.
• Qualify customer intent, log all interactions in Zoho, and set AM appointments
where required.
• Provide professional first-touch service to new inbound customers.
Collaboration & Reporting
• Work closely with Field AMs, providing lead updates, renewal statuses, and
retention insights.
• Maintain accurate records of all activities in Zoho CRM.
• Contribute to sales performance reports by providing lead and conversion metrics.
