Job Description

Join our rapidly growing BPO company as a Home-Based Financial Planning Staff at DCX. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to own budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and develop financial models to support our strategic initiatives. With your expertise in Excel modeling and strong accounting/financial knowledge, you'll play a vital role in driving our company's success.

Job Responsibilities

1. Budgeting and forecasting

2. ​Assist in data gathering, development and consolidation of annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts, working closely with the cost center managers.

3. Support near- and long-term P&L forecast.​

4. Variance analysis

5. Assist in the preparation and processing of cost center managers' monthly budget to actual review reports.

6. Assist in the consolidation of feedback from the cost center managers, as well as investigating and responding to concerns/queries if needed.

7. Assist in the preparation of management reports related to monthly variance report and other components of the monthly financial package.

8. Treasury/cashflow forecasting

9. Assist in the preparation of weekly and 12-month rolling cash forecast.

10. Ad-hoc

11. Support the FP&A team in conducting financial reviews, presentations, and discussions with cost center managers and senior leadership.

12. Assist and coordinate with the Data Project team for various process improvements.
13. Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Extensive experience in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel modeling
• Must be able to work independently, Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.
• Hands-on, results-oriented, and self-motivated
• Proactive problem-solving skills including the ability to define possible solutions, foresee issues, and provide effective solutions.
• Analytical skills, flexibility, and ability to adapt to dynamic expectations.
• Ability to organize, interpret and analyze large volumes of data.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with company leaders and Cost Center Managers.

Additional Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years post-graduate experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or management accounting; doesn't need to be an accountant.
• Strong financial analysis skills, with proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis.
• Effective communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, and Outlook.
• Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA or CFP) is a plus but not required.
• Workday Adaptive Financial Planning knowledge is a plus but not required.
