Role Overview

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant with strong experience in social media marketing, email marketing, content writing, and WordPress. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, proactive, and comfortable executing marketing strategies to help grow an e-commerce brand.

You will be responsible for building our marketing foundation from scratch—crafting email campaigns, posting on social media, creating blogs, and supporting brand partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Create and schedule posts, carousels, and short-form video content (Reels)

  • Manage comments and DMs to build brand awareness and initiate collaboration outreach

  • Develop social media strategies to increase engagement and followers

  • Social media outreach to potential influencers and brand partners

  • Email Marketing

  • Build email templates and flows from scratch

  • Write engaging newsletters and promotional email campaigns

  • Manage email marketing tools and track campaign performance

  • Content Creation

  • Write 1 SEO-friendly blog post weekly (keywords provided)

  • Ensure blogs align with brand voice and content themes

  • Repurpose blog content for social media or email use

  • Website Support

  • Update website pages using WordPress plugins

  • Assist with content layout and simple formatting

  • Coordinate with team when technical issues arise

  • Paid Advertising (Basic Support)

  • Assist in launching and optimizing Facebook/Meta ads

  • Collaborate on ad copy and audience targeting (creative assets already available)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce

  • Strong understanding of social media content strategies

  • Experience with Meta Business Suite (Facebook + Instagram)

  • Excellent English writing skills for blogs and emails

  • Knowledge of email marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, SendGrid, etc.)

  • Basic SEO knowledge and keyword implementation

  • Ability to design graphics using Canva

  • Experience with short-form video content (Reels/TikTok style editing)

  • Familiarity with WordPress and plugins

  • Organized, self-driven, and reliable

  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision
