Frontend Engineer (React)

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of features for our web-based frontend applications using React and modern JavaScript.
  • Build dashboards and web interfaces that provide analytics, reporting, and insights for our business clients.
  • Create reusable UI components and frontend libraries to maintain consistency and speed across our products.
  • Optimize both new and existing components for performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure the product roadmap is reflected in clean, maintainable frontend work.
  • Write documentation and help teammates integrate with APIs and frontend workflows.
  • Contribute to code reviews, maintain coding standards, enhance test coverage, and improve QA processes.
  • When needed, explore technologies outside your main stack to solve specific problems or improve systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience building frontends with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools — Jest, Cypress, Testing Library, etc.
  • Comfortable working with complex forms and form-management libraries (e.g., react-hook-form, Formik).
  • Familiarity with state management tools like Redux, React Query, MobX, etc.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving skills, and attention to performance / optimization.
  • Good communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Bonus if you have experience with DevOps practices, AWS, Docker, or working in agile environments.
