Job Summary:

The Area Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations across multiple locations within a defined geographic area. This role ensures consistent operational excellence, drives performance improvement, leads cross-functional teams, and supports company goals around customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations across sites/branches/stores within the assigned area.
  • Lead, train, and support local managers and team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., HR, Finance, Supply Chain) to support operational needs.
  • Drive customer service standards and resolve escalated issues.
  • Analyze operational data and report findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the rollout of new initiatives, products, or systems across locations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure standard operating procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, with multi-site responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operations-related software/tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated area.
