Job Title: Lighting Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams of contractors and developers to gather requirements for lighting projects.
  • Provide documentation, quotations, and technical data sheets for requests for proposals (RFPs) and lighting project requirements.
  • Read and evaluate reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) to determine the number of lights needed and the specifications of drivers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of lighting products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lighting products, industry trends, and technical specifications.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to lighting product specifications or delivery schedules.
  • Support the development and implementation of processes and procedures related to lighting product coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in lighting product coordination, project management, or related roles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of lighting products, technical specifications, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting reflected ceiling plans (RCPs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
