Job Summary

We are seeking a Market Research Assistant to support our research project on transformers and switchgears in the Visayas region. The role involves data gathering, market analysis, and preparing reports to help guide business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling both technical and business-related information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of the research project on transformers and switchgears in the Visayas.
  • Collect data through surveys, interviews, site visits, and online research.
  • Coordinate with electric cooperatives and other stakeholders for information gathering.
  • Organize, clean, and manage collected data for analysis.
  • Prepare market reports, charts, and presentations summarizing research findings.
  • Identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential risks based on data gathered.
  • Collaborate with the central office to ensure consistency in research methods and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates with strong research and analytical skills are encouraged to apply.

Experience

  • Preferably 1–2 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or technical sales related to electrical equipment.
  • Exposure to transformers, switchgears, or the power distribution industry is an advantage but not required.

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of transformers and switchgears (types, applications, and specifications).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (charts, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Skilled in preparing clear written reports and delivering presentations.
  • Comfortable conducting research online and gathering data via calls, site visits, or interviews.

Soft Skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with cooperatives, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel within the Visayas for fieldwork as needed.
