About the role

Makati (Sports) Club, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring that our members and guests receive exceptional dining experiences. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting the chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
  2. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by regularly cleaning and sanitising work surfaces, equipment, and utensils
  3. Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
  4. Ensuring the proper storage and rotation of food items to maintain freshness and quality
  5. Helping with the plating and presentation of dishes
  6. Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
  7. Providing support to the kitchen team as needed to ensure efficient and timely service

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably in a similar role
  2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  3. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  4. Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
  5. A passion for providing excellent customer service and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen
