Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and audience-focused Live Engagement Associate to manage real-time interaction and engagement during live sessions across digital platforms. This role is vital to creating a vibrant and interactive viewer experience that supports brand objectives, increases watch time, and boosts audience retention and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with viewers during live sessions via chat, polls, comments, and Q&As to encourage participation.
  • Moderate live chat to ensure a positive, respectful, and brand-safe environment.
  • Support hosts, influencers, or presenters with live prompts, talking points, or real-time audience feedback.
  • Coordinate giveaways, shoutouts, and other live engagement strategies to boost viewership.
  • Track live audience sentiment and flag any issues or opportunities to the session lead in real-time.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align live engagement with campaign goals.
  • Prepare pre-session engagement plans and post-session reports on viewer activity, participation, and key engagement metrics.
  • Stay updated on platform features and trends in audience engagement across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Zoom, etc.
  • Assist in post-live content reuse (highlight clips, comment recaps, etc.) and community management follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of experience in social media, livestreaming, community management, or customer engagement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with audiences authentically
  • Confident in fast-paced, live environments with quick thinking and adaptability
  • Familiarity with live session platforms (Instagram Live, YouTube Live, TikTok Live, Zoom, etc.)
  • Excellent teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to analyze engagement data and derive actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with influencer/live commerce events
  • Multilingual abilities to engage diverse audience segments (if applicable)
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and engagement tracking
  • Creativity in planning audience participation strategies
