Live Host

A dynamic and engaging Live Host to lead live streaming events, broadcasts, and interactive online content. Has strong communication skills, a charismatic on-screen presence, and the ability to keep an audience engaged in real-time. Will be responsible for hosting live events, product launches, interviews, or interactive sessions, creating an engaging atmosphere, and ensuring seamless content delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, or related field preferred);

· 1-3 years of experience as a live host, broadcaster, or similar role in media, entertainment, or social media platforms;

· Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver content clearly, confidently, and entertainingly;

· Strong on-camera presence with the ability to captivate and engage an audience;

· Ability to adapt to unscripted moments and handle real-time interaction with the audience;

· Comfort speaking and engaging with a live audience, both in-person and virtually;

· Basic understanding of live streaming platforms (e.g., Instagram Live, Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitch), camera equipment, and live broadcasting tools;

· Creative and resourceful in generating engaging content ideas and formats for live streaming;

· Ability to collaborate with producers, content creators, and technical teams to create seamless and impactful live events;

· Experience with live streaming platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook Live, YouTube Live, etc.);

· Familiarity with video production, camera work, or live streaming equipment;

· Previous work in entertainment, media, or as an influencer.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

· Host live streaming sessions, including product demonstrations, Q&A sessions, interviews, or entertainment broadcasts. Engage with the audience and keep the energy high throughout the live experience;

· Engage with viewers by responding to comments, answering questions, and fostering interaction during live broadcasts. Create a welcoming and interactive environment to encourage participation;

· Present scripted and unscripted content, ensuring that it aligns with brand messaging and objectives. Maintain clear and concise communication while keeping the audience informed and entertained;

· Work closely with the production and technical team to ensure smooth execution of live broadcasts, from content planning to technical setup and troubleshooting;

· Represent the brand in a positive, professional manner, ensuring that live events reflect the company's values, tone, and personality;

· Review scripts, outline key talking points, and rehearse live sessions to ensure smooth delivery. Collaborate with content creators and the production team to prepare for live events;

· Handle any unexpected technical or content issues during the live broadcast by thinking quickly and maintaining control of the show;

· Contribute creative ideas for live content, events, or interactive experiences. Keep up with trends in live streaming, social media, and audience engagement techniques;

· Participate in post-event activities, including social media engagement, event follow-ups, or creating behind-the-scenes content. Help maintain engagement beyond the live event;

· Performs task assigned by the immediate head; and

· Flexible to work irregular hours or on rest days and holidays, if required.
